Award – „FOR ACOUSTICS“

At the seminar organized by KNAUF – Akustika Plius was awarded the incentive prize “For Acoustics” – for the reconstruction of the teaching block of Juozas Tallat-Kelpša Conservatory, acoustic interior of the concert hall, project authors Gintare Privediene, Viktoras Mekas, Evelina Zaveckienė.

The best architects of the Baltic States were selected and awarded in the KNAUF “Dry Construction in Architecture” competition. During the event which attracted over 240 participants, the most outstanding projects of 2016-2017 and their authors were selected from 66 applications.

First Place: Rolandas Palekas and his team project “Reconstruction of Central LITEXPO Palace”.

Second place: “The Greywall project” by Tom Umbrasas, Aidas Barzda, Tautvydas Vileikis and Rokas Kontvainis.

Third place: Lina Ghotmeh, Dan Dorell and Tsuyoski Tane project “Estonian National Museum”.

Incentive bonuses:

  • Dmitrij Kudin, Laura Malcaitė, Rūta Kazėnaitė and Luka Galinytė, “The Third Wix.com Office”;
  • Janis Norde, Visvaldis Sarma, Gunta Grikmane Paula Stradina “Clinical University Hospital”;
  • Edimtas Šimeliūnas, Gintautas Šveikauskas and Ricardo Paternina in the “Green Hall 2 lobby”;
  • Gintare Privediene, Viktoras Mekas, Evelina Zaveckiene “Reconstruction of the teaching block of Juozas Tallat-Kelpša Conservatory”.

The best projects were selected by a competent commission of Lithuanian and foreign architects: Audrys Karalius, Dalia Adomonienė, Rytis Mikulionis, Juris Pogas, Rachid Abu-Hassan, Andreas Strauß.
